The power of a well structured social media strategy is a great way to drive inbound new business leads. There are however, a few additional resources that corporate marketers are beginning to use more and more to find and evaluate agencies that you might want to consider adding to your new business and social media mix.

Most sites provide a portal to create, or confirm a basic profile about the agency and then charge a fee to enhance that profile with creative work, awards, and in-depth bios of key staff and so on.
Through direct feedback for the corporate side, it’s true that the snazzier the profile, the more likely it will be that a marketer will review it, or even find it for that matter. Just like a website, this micro-site about your agency will be more easily found the deeper the relevant content.

Now, about relevance; when building out your enhanced profiles, remember to be a specialist, not a generalist. Show relevant work for the audience you’re seeking to influence and make it pop.
